Express Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box during account registration, you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS) from Hayyoh at the phone number you provided. This consent is not a condition of purchase or use of Hayyoh services.

Message Purpose & Types

SMS messages will be used for the following purposes only:

• Account verification and authentication - One-time codes to verify your identity during signup and login
• Security alerts - Important notifications about your account security
• Booking confirmations and updates - Rental booking details, confirmations, and status changes
• Item pickup and return reminders - Time-sensitive reminders about your rentals
• Important account notifications - Critical updates about your account or listings

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. You may receive:

• 1-2 verification messages during signup and login
• Booking-related notifications (varies per rental)
• Occasional service updates and security alerts

We do not send promotional or marketing messages.

Message & Data Rates

You are responsible for any carrier fees associated with receiving SMS messages from Hayyoh.By providing your phone number and consenting to SMS, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for all applicable carrier charges.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any text message from Hayyoh
• Updating your notification preferences in your account settings
• Contacting support at support@hayyoh.com

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. Important: Opting out of SMS may affect your ability to receive critical account and booking notifications, including verification codes needed to access your account.

Privacy & Data Protection

Your phone number and message data are protected under our Privacy Policy. We:

• Do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes

• Retain phone numbers only as long as your account is active

Supported Carriers

Hayyoh SMS service is available on major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most other carriers. Message delivery may vary by carrier and location.

User Responsibilities

By consenting to receive SMS messages, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the account holder or authorized user of the phone number provided
• You have the authority to consent to receive text messages at that number
• You will promptly update your phone number if it changes
• You accept responsibility for all carrier fees and charges

Changes to SMS Terms

Hayyoh reserves the right to modify these SMS terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or SMS. Continued use of SMS services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Service Availability

SMS service availability may be affected by factors outside of Hayyoh's control, including but not limited to carrier network issues, device compatibility, and geographical location. Hayyoh is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier or network issues.
